NEW Intermediate Free Motion Embroidery Workshop

Level Up with Free Motion Embroidery

Free motion embroidery is addictive! When I first picked this textile art skill eons ago I was hooked. No rules, I didn’t have to sew along the lines - it was all up to me. I had originally intended to start my intermediate class in 2021, but because of emergency issues (life!), this was put on hold. Now, with my collaboration with Fashion Makerspace, my intermediate Free Motion Embroidery class is happening!! Don’t forget to read until the end for the special discount code! It’s a way of saying a big thank you to you all for your support.

Free motion embroidery workshop

In this free motion embroidery session, we will be exploring DISSOLVABLE FABRIC. You might have read my earlier post on this wonderful invention, and if you already know the basics of free motion embroidery, then this workshop is for you.

What You Will Learn in Intermediate Free Motion Embroidery

This free motion embroidery workshop is a step up from the basics. In the basic session, I taught how to scribble and doodle on fabric. In this free motion embroidery session, we are using dissolvable fabric instead of fabric to create the fabric collages. What makes this more interesting is that once the fabric is run under the tap, your creation takes on a wispy lace-like texture!

  1. Get to know your dissolvable fabric

  2. How to create a basic structure on the dissolvable fabric

  3. Create your own collage for you to take home
