Bowls of Fragility 2019, 2021

A continuation of Bowls of Fragility, these works look at the relationship between man and the coral reefs, and a currently on display at the #artencounters exhibition 𝙄𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙎𝙤𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙧 𝙒𝙤𝙧𝙡𝙙𝙨, a popup free-weaving studio, textile art exhibition, and lineup of artmaking workshops curated by artist Natalia Tan and supported by Art Outreach Singapore. At Millenia Walk (outside Coffee Bean) from 1 - 31 May, 11am -8pm.

Bowls of Fragility

Bowls of Fragility was exhibited at Steeped Strong (29 Nov - 15 Dec 2019) and looks at the relationship between the coral reefs and people.

 
 

Nature in stitches

Nature in Stitches was first exhibited at The Singapore Eco Film Festival 2017. The interactive installation comprises a stitched interpretation of bark encased in reclaimed wooden and metal coffee tables. It is used to portray the connection between slowing down and appreciating nature and what it has to offer to us.

Ocean

An upcycled art installation that depicts the pressures the corals are facing as their habitat is being eroded by warming sea temperatures, increasing water acidity and pollution. This is a collaboration with Hong Kong artist, Arana Kennedy, and was first exhibited at Green is the New Black 2017, Singapore.

Exploring natural dyes - artist residency

An artist residency followed by an open house at the Observatoire, Blue House. Here Agy explored various ways of marking textiles with the flora surrounding the premises and the food waste from the adjoining cafe.
