An Invitation to Pause & Reflect - Slow Stitch Workshops

As we enter 2026, I would like to invite you to my slow stitch talk and workshops at National Library Board, Singapore. In the run up to Chinese New Year, come down to one of three locations across Singapore, and engage in meditative stitching.

Each piece, crafted from repurposed garments, embodies a tangible memory from the participant’s past, honoring personal and shared histories. Through meditative stitching, the act of joining the fabrics together nurtures present self- awareness and well-being, encouraging participants to slow down, much needed in an increasingly fast-paced world. During this reflective workshop, participants will also embroider words of hope and intention, expressing their aspirations for the future.
