I am happy to announce that I will be participating in this year’s Making Zen retreat, hosted by Zen Stitching! There will be presentations from more than 20 different artists, including myself, that you can follow along to at home to hone your skills and learn new techniques.

Wait… What’s Making Zen?

I’m glad you asked! Making Zen is a 5-day online retreat for stitchers and crafters to help them learn new processes, improve technique, and get inspired through a wholistic approach that nurtures creativity. Not only does this retreat offer all of the above through presentations from incredible artists from different places and backgrounds, it also offers an excuse to slow down, practice mindfulness, and bring some zen into your life! Oh, and did I mention it’s free?

If you sign up, you will get access to the all workshops (US$2,500 worth of creativity!) for one week. If you want lifetime access, you can sign up for The All Access Pass too.

The retreat will cover lots of topics, including different methods of printing, visible mending, and bringing nature into your craft. My presentation will be on free motion embroidery (of course!)
