Textile Art Workshops
My free motion embroidery workshop series is coming back in June. There were a number of you who couldn’t make the popular textile art workshops in February due to the festive lunar new year period, and so I decided to have a second run of the workshops. Both sessions are held from 7 - 930pm at Fashion Makerspace (Clarke Quay) and cover a range of machine embroidery techniques and tips.
Basic Free Motion Embroidery Workshop
In the 2.5 hour workshop, I will share how to start machine embroidery, and what are the basic techniques to get you going. The end result is a applique / collage on a tea towel. Sign up here.
Intermediate Free Motion Embroidery Workshop
Once you have gotten to grip with the basics and practiced at home, you are ready for the intermediate session! We will be playing with dissolvable fabric to create your own sketch using just the sewing machine needle and thread! You will get to take home your own personally designed art work! Sign up here.
